As expected, AS/NZS ISO 45001:2018 was published today by Standard Australia as joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
This standard will be our OHS guide for next years and we believe that the standard will help organisations to improve their OHSMS and hopefully save many lives, worldwide.
The standard may make some challenges for organisations, consultants and auditors; however, we all know that’s the only way to make improvements. Remember, in 2017 there were 190 Australian workers killed at work, compared with 187 workers in 2016. We still have a long way to go and we are ready to accept challenge.
